What to Confirm Before Specifying a Negative Ion Module

A negative ion generator module is an electrical component, not a finished air purifier. Start with the supply and emitter arrangement required by the equipment, then review the electrical configuration with SIHON.

1. Identify the input configuration

Provide the available AC or DC supply, voltage and connection details. Multiple input options in a listing can refer to different versions; they do not establish universal-input compatibility.

2. Describe the emitter installation

Specify a brush, needle or multi-head arrangement, mounting space, lead length and insulation constraints. A replacement module must be reviewed against its actual load and wiring, not only its external dimensions.

3. Define a repeatable output test

For an ion-output target, state measurement distance, airflow, instrument, operating time and environmental conditions. Ask how the output-voltage figure was measured and which configuration it describes.

4. Validate the complete equipment

Review electrical safety, operating duty and emissions in the finished assembly. No health effect, sterilization performance, zero-ozone result or certification is implied by a component photograph.
